Wynola Estates Fire Safe Council (WEFSC) is a community-led organization in rural Northeast San Diego County. WEFSC began in 2020 in an effort to protect the residents of the Wynola Estates Community. Our goal is to EDUCATE residents on how to protect their homes, communities, and environments from catastrophic wildfires through collaborative planning, programs, mitigation, and education.

We EMPOWER residents with tools, resources, and knowledge to take meaningful action before wildfire strikes.
By building confidence and self-reliance, we help our community become stronger and more fire-resilient. We MOBILIZE neighbors to work together, because wildfire preparedness is most effective when it’s a community effort.
